Researchers at UT Austin, Baylor University, University of Maryland are testing a program to better support families during wait times for autism diagnostic evaluations and services.
Who can participate?
- Primary caregivers of a child age 0–5 waiting for an autism diagnosis or services
- You will receive $25 for completing the intake session, $25 for post-study, $25 for follow-up survey
- You will be randomly assigned to 1 of 2 conditions
What will you do?
- Complete an intake assessment with the research team to select online modules together
- Get support on (a) parent mental health, (b) challenging behaviors, (c) social communication online for 8 weeks
